Terms of Service

By submitting the Order Form, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.

The artist ("Soshu" or "SoshuScribbles"):

  • Retains full rights to and ownership of the artwork

  • Maintains the right to post the artwork on social media profiles, websites, etc. (unless agreed otherwise with client)

  • May decline or refuse to accept a commission order for any reason

  • May cancel (with full refund) a commission if I deem it necessary.

The client (you):

  • Are expected to have read and understood these terms prior to placing an order

  • May post the artwork on social media profiles, websites, etc, if agreed upon with the artist and the artist is credited appropriately

  • May use the artwork for personal purposes (avatar, banner, wallpaper...), crediting the artist where appropriate

  • May NOT use the artwork for any commercial or for-profit purpose, including but not limited to advertisements, print sales, non-fungible tokens (NFT), and association with cryptocurrencies.

  • May NOT use the artwork as input or training data for any AI model.

  • Are expected to respond to messages and updates from the artist in a reasonably prompt manner

Pricing

Pricing is determined by the artist and is subject to change. The artist reserves the right to levy surcharges for excessively difficult work.Prices are current as of August 2025. All prices are in US Dollars (USD).Currently offered add-ons:

  • Additional character: +50% of base price each (max. 2 allowed, 3 characters total)

Art Policy

Rules for art commissions and the process of making them.

General

  • Commission orders are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. I may choose to decline an order for any reason, replacing declined orders with the next in the queue.

  • The order form does not track responses against capacity, so please be aware that submitting an order does not guarantee that it will be accepted.

  • Commissions should be completed within 1-2 months of receiving payment. Simple commissions are likely to complete faster.

  • For illustration commissions (coloured art), the client will be provided with a WIP of the sketch before proceeding to lineart.

  • Upon receiving a WIP, the client will have the opportunity to request revisions.

  • Once the sketch is approved, additional WIPs may be provided, upon which more revisions can be requested.

  • Excessive revisions will incur additional fees.

  • Sketch commissions do not have WIPs. Minor revisions may be requested upon completion.

  • Please be patient. I'm new to doing commissions and there could be some trial-and-error involved.

I will draw:

  • Fanart

  • Original character (OC) art

  • Ship art (art portraying characters in romantic relationships)

  • Suggestive art (within reason)

  • Simple mecha

  • Kemonomimi (animal ears)

  • Sonas/mascots (characters representing the client without resembling their IRL appearance)

I will NOT draw:

  • Nudity or explicit Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content

  • Kink/fetish art of any kind

  • Gore/excessive violence

  • Illegal, hateful, or otherwise harmful content

  • Anthro/furry

  • Complex mecha

  • Real people, including self-inserts/"yume" art

Reference images for poses and characters are strongly recommended. If you are requesting an OC or sona, character reference(s) are mandatory. Reference images may NOT be generated using AI models.I reserve the right to decline a commission order for ANY reason.

Payment

  • Payment is currently only accepted via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you will need to create one.

  • Payment is made up front in full.

  • When your order is accepted, you will be sent an invoice. You have 48 hours from the time you receive the invoice to pay. If payment is not received in time, the order will be cancelled and you will not be placed back in the queue.

  • Work on the commission will not start until payment is received.

  • If I cancel your commission after accepting payment, you will be refunded in full. If you cancel your commission after work has started, no refund will be given.
